As the title says I've been using a Reverse Bonade Clarinet lig on my Barone NY Alto HR piece. It seems to work fine, holds the reed tightly enough to seal well & for it to stay in place when I need to adjust the mpc for intonation, etc...

Should I just keep on keepin' on or should I break down and buy the Bonade for Alto or even better yet a "standard" 2-screw? (I have a couple of 2 screw Alto ligs but they are a little on the flimsy side.)

Didn't know if there might be some kind of adverse effect down the road like chance of spontaneous combustion, narcoleptic seizure, or something along those lines.

So, does it matter? :bluewink:
