Another item from a friends fathers deceased estate which I have been asked to help sell / Identify on behalf of the family .

It is a Besson BB967 euphonium which is in good condition ( needs a clean and some missing plating ) but no major dings or damage -
the issues is that it is missing the valves - the son has searched everywhere and I cannot find any of the parts .

Is it possible to buy replacement parts for this model or am im going to struggle ?

I deal in string instruments and have not got any contacts in the Brass world .

Any help would be appreciated .

Best thing to do is get in touch with a specialist. Maybe in Germany or the UK where brass is very popular.

In the Netherlands I recommend Matthew’s , they are very good in Brass instruments too, they are very used to be quick and positively responsive . You can call them they speak excellent English ( the owner is American) and they are regularly repairing these things.

Do try Matthews, they are not at all expensive for this kind of thing and maybe they have the spares sitting in a drawer. Good Luck!
