I've been using Rico straps and I love them for their ease of adjustment and neat looks.

The bad thing about them is that the string starts wearing after a while.

Well, what I've done is just buy another one. But being "recycle conscious" I really do not like this option.

Now I have two really nice looking straps, that remind me of great times, and all that is wrong with them is the worn string.

I would love to replace the string and have return them to their "as new" condition again.

Has anybody ever replace the string on one of these straps?

Is there a place where you can get string?

It does not seem hard to do it.

Thanks,

Rodrigo

Wow, I've been using them for five years and they're not even worn!

Email Rico and ask if they'll send you a new one. They sent me a new H lig when mine snapped.
Yep, they will. I use these straps both padded and unpadded, like them alot. I am a Rico endorser but I was using their products long before I became one. Great company, great customer service unlike some others I've dealt with.
