I live in the northeast, Pocono region: 45 minutes from Scranton PA, 40 min. from Stroudsburg PA, 45 min from Middletown NY, 40 min from Newton NJ.

Does anyone have any experience with techs in this region.

No one that I know of in Orange County. If you don't want to go into NYC, I'd say Joe Sax would be the way to go. He's not cheap though. www.joesax.com/
