Remember the TV Show "Fame" ?

For the late members in their 30's early 40's this was the SHOW. I recently got the first season on DVD and it takes me back to my youth. Obviously most of the production is "Air-Playing" but wouldn't attending a real school that that be AWESOME.

Missed oppurtunities......

Yeah, I remember it. Don't forget, it was a theatrical film before it went to series. Michael Gore won the Oscar that year for the 'score', such as it was. I remember one song in the series, 'I Sing the Body Electric' - did it have anything to do with Ray Bradbury's story?

"Baby, remember my name.." - a precursor of the modern mania for talent shows with a little real life thrown in.. (and when I say "talent" and "real life" I mean something rather different from what one would usually understand by those terms

) ..and the leg warmers too.....
