Good morning!
I hope everyone is well and staying safe.

Here is a new short video I just got from Reggie Padilla on his orange Ultem Robusto 7* mouthpiece
Here he is playing over some Strayhorn. (UMMG)

Enjoy and have a great day.

All the best,
Mark

Hi bro!
Yes, Reggie has been on it full-time since he first got it about 7 months ago. He went right to it as soon as he got his. He has both the orange Ultem and the hard rubber Gen ll.
He really likes the look of the orange a lot.

Thank you.
The hard rubber for me is fatter sounding and has it’s own special vibe. The hard rubber is a full sized hard rubber mouthpiece and the metal obviously is more the size of a traditional metal piece.
I’m also biased, because metal mouthpieces can be fun for me, but they never feel as good as a great hard rubber mouthpiece in my mouth.

As I tell everyone with mouthpieces, what’s best for one guy is not best for the next guy.
There is no “best mpc” in the marketplace for everyone, because we all enjoy different things.
I may feel that the Robusto hard rubber is the best mouthpiece for what I want, but everybody likes different things and there’s a mouthpiece out there for everybody to enjoy.
I’m sure the mouthpiece he was playing before was excellent, but he just gets something different that he likes more with mine.
He really likes the combination on his Mauriat with my Robusto and BBS reeds.

The Gen ll pieces are really excellent players.
