[rolleyes] Does any of the forums refacers do any special work to a Selmer Soloist
C* or maybe specialize in them for a rich dark tone after opening them up to a desired tip opening? something different besides the obvious Joe Henderson type
reference in sound and tone? maybe a Mark Shim type vibe on a Soloist for example
or maybe since Trane at least in pictures i have seen used one have a Trane vibe on a Soloist? any ideas from refacers or players out there would be helpful to me.
I know at least besides the curve applied to the Soloist more is done to the baffle for a desired tone, right? anything else? thanks..

Phil Engelman (Phil-Tone) does a nice job with these. Let him know what you are looking for and I am sure he can help you.
