For anyone who plays a Lamberson L tenor model (HR), I was wondering what reed brands you are finding are successful with that mouthpiece.
I have the L7 and am using Java 3 1/2. They're OK, but I'll be trying some other brands as well.

Roberto's #3 soft for my L7. Not cheap, but worth it. They last and last.

Fred Lamberson told me a couple years ago that he prefers V16s.

I am using Alexander DC3 on my acetal L7 - and a silverplate Francois Louis lig (not because I think the plating makes a difference, it just looks right on my silverplate horn).

Try Hemke, say around a 3. Worked with the L7 I had a little better than RJS.
