So I'm an intermediate sax player and I recently got a P Mauriat Le Bravo 200 Tenor and I've been loving it! I decided to try out the reed that it comes with and I actually ended up loving it for getting more of a centered sound (though it is a bit squeaky sometimes).

Does anyone know what reeds I should get if I'd like something similar? Thanks :)

Oh also, I'm using a D'Addario Select Jazz 7M mouthpiece with a Rovner Light ligature if that makes any difference.

I am not sure that P.Mauriat sells their horns with a reed. Could it be that was the shop that put a reed there? Does the reed have no ID whatsoever? They do have their own branded reeds they are made in France, probably by Marca.

Very likey they weould be similar to a Marca madel ( perhaps Jazz filed?)

The reed is branded as a P.Mauriat. It says "2 1/2" at the front of the table, P.Mauriat in the middle, and FRANCE on the back of the table. It also came in a red plastic sleeve, similar to the Vandorens if that's any help.
