Anyone seen one like this before? I wonder if they cut it from an old bowling ball.

These are part of the current Berg product line, I really don't know if they ever made any "vintage" ones. I have played a couple and they were very good players made after Berg corrected some of their quality control issues of recent years. Way cool looking.

Thanks Kritavi, I see a wood-grained HR mouthpiece on the Berg website but not a bowling ball grain.

I recently worked on one of these for tenor from Weiner Music - an excellent piece and looks oh so cool. Based on the last two new HR Bergs I've seen, I hold them in much higher regard. I think they are getting it! Still a ways to go with the stainless, though...
