I'm just totally rejoicing, because I finally have a little leverage to get some of the higher overtones after seeing his explanation and exercises. Woohoo!

He's a great player obviously and really knows his stuff, but I find his explanations difficult to follow.
That is an example of different learning styles, I guess. I've been working on overtones with little progress for at least a year, and this video finally gave me the understanding I needed. Maybe it makes a difference that I'm a singer, and that's why his explanations helped. Anyway, I'm glad it was "out there" to be looked at.

This is a really good video, helps a lot.
I'm able to get few first overtones quite steadily, then it gets more difficult.
Also, I find it easier to get them from B and C than Bb, while Bb tends to create multiphonics rather than single overtones.
Does anyone have any tips for this problem?
