Isn’t it B&F ( Bohland & Fuchs) ? This is a brand which actually belongs to Amati. Public also pictures of both instrument and logo.
Incidentally, the title of this thread could have been a bit more specific “ Info on B&M GDR?” to not only entice but actually making sure that people with information would notice it

I have started a thread on it some time ago

https://forum.saxontheweb.net/showthread.php?274234-Bohland-amp-Fuchs

This is a brand which is occasionally offered for sale in the Netherlands. A few years ago more than nowadays.

I have always though it was just another Chinese thing but I have discovered that Bolhand & Fuchs was a brand owned by Amati and all their instruments Brasswinds and Woodwinds are actually Amati made.

The roots of the company are actually ancient.

in the ’70 and the ’80 they even sold Hi-Fi products under this brand

this is quite obviously an early Weltklang.

Not of the better Wetklangs which were identical to old B&S made by the same company, these feature this evident bump where the upper part of the cone is obviously soldered onto another lower part. This is not unusual (earlY Yamaha also show signs of this), but the workmanship is crude. Also I really dislike the left palm keys which have been later on changed. The sax is also badly scratched as if someone has delacquered by using steel wool. Once a botch always a botch.

Personally wouldn’t bother with this.

Yes, haha!

Also, the post for the low C seems to be pushed into the body a little. Photo #8
