I have an old 1932 King Voll-True ( not the Voll-TrueII ) Baritone and have just read on the King site that I need a "large chambered" mouthpiece to make the sax play more in tune. What kind of mouthpiece would be "large chambered" with an opening of about 0.090" Thanks. Jerry

The Tone Edge is actually a "medium/large" sized chamber. You might need a vintage piece or you could get one of Eric Greiffenhagen's double-chamber pieces (which I've never played but you can read about on SOTW, they're a little spendy) or a custom piece from David Jary (only about $180) like the one I have that has a huge chamber and plays with good intonation on my ridiculously large-bore Dolnet bari.

I'm messing around with a Morgan Bass/Baritone 8 that is great on my tranny 12M. This is the only mpc I've put on this horn (other than on old pre-war HR "dill-pickle") that actually fits comfortably on the neck. Everything else is pulled so far off the neck that it barely fits on. If you get a chance, give one of these a try. (Junkdude may still has a few in stock, but I'm told he's going to be producing more to the same specs.)
