Does any one knows what kind of Kohlert this tenor is?

The people who are selling this sax explained to me that it was a sax from one of their parents who used it as professional player.

Yeah, a very old one, a VKS (Kohlert & Son)...so that'd make it 1930's probably.

It does have the front F key...that's about the oldest Kohlert I have ever seen, actually. Very cool.

It needs an overhaul is the text saying. I thougt there were some guys here looking now and then for a Kohlert tenor. Well here's one and for not that much money.

I've written to the sellers. They insist that whoever wants to buy their saxophone should pick it up locally. Which makes is more difficult to find a buyer I guess.
