I think this might be refreshing for those selmer USA players out there. They can see what this horn is capable of at the highest level. Phillip Doc Martin has been using the selmer omega as his main horn since 2013. He is now endorsed by Eastman and uses that horn on recent gigs. But he still pulls out his selmer usa omega in some recent videos. It's still his preferred horn. Here are some videos of him playing it live.

Here is a video of him putting one of his selmer omegas on ebay. He had two and sold one. I'm assuming he had to many horns after endorsing with Eastman.

He has the omega on the cover of many of his albums so I assume he used it for recording. Anyway, this is just an example of a player using it at the highest level and producing what I would say is very close to a mark 6 like vintage sound with the iconic mark 6 core. And it's obvious that he could be playing a VI but chooses this instead.
