so i went to my local sam ash and they had a mk VI tenor on display, i'd never played one so i put my mouthpiece on it and played. The saxophone had it's engraveing buffed off, and then it was silver plated, the previous owner also had the keys gold plated, and the keys were modified, i wasnt very impressed by how it played. There's no way i'm going to buy it, but i was just wondering if the asking price of $3900 was a good price for the horn after all it had done w/ it or if it'd be worth less.

I'm just sitting here bored, waiting for summer to end, and i was curious about that, so thanks for any responses
