Hi everyone. This is one of my first posts here on SOTW, although I read a LOT of them. I've been working on this for many years now off-and-on. This is a live in-studio recording using only microphones on all instruments and no post audio production of any kind. I'm completely wireless. Listen to on a big sound system for best representation. Thanks for checking it out. - Klaus Milbitz (Dallas, TX)
Looks like you are using an intraMic on there. Yes? Cool sounding effects you got happening there. I'd love to know what all effects you are using, very cool.
Hi Brian and Mark. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just signed on to do something else and noticed you guys had written. I guess I assumed I'd get an email letting me know when people respond.
Brian, I still want to make it up to try some of your mouthpieces, especially sopranos.
Mark, no it's not an IntraMic, although I did research them a bit online. Seems they would interrupt the airflow and hence alter some things playing-wise. I don't really see that issue addressed in any of the things I've read. Do you use one? If so, what do you think? I basically use a piezo mic, a harmonizer, and a Line 6 multi-effects box ... plus a lot of years of experimenting, trial-and-erroring, programming, etc. I'm currently working on version 2.0, which will have on-sax pitchbend, buttons, etc. (all wireless) to free myself up from the footpedals even more.
