Powell Headjoint Question

First, want to say thanks to everyone for running and participating in this forum, been lurking for a while and having access to all the player / tech experience here is invaluable.

Being my first post, I should probably mention that I am just a novice flute player, on and off for the last 20+ years, who really enjoys improvisation and sitting in on open jam sessions here in the Rhode Island area (read mostly Blues).

For the last 6 months, I've been using a Powell HJ on my old Pearl 765RBE. The headjoint is marked simply "BOSTON 2100 Q" under the Powell logo and has a rather square EH.

I'm wondering if anyone has played the same and can tell me what the "Q" stands for? This is not a Philharmonic or Boston cut?

I much prefer it over the stock Pearl PH-6J head.

TIA, Cheers, Ed
