Hi, this Kohlert was purchased as a step up vintage horn for my son a few years back. It played OK, needs a repad and the usual minor work. He switched to tenor and at this point no longer plays, so never had this one refurbished.

Has original case which is solid, although the faux alligator wrap is peeling.

Based on the Saxpics table this looks to be around late 50s (60XXX). Is that correct and what is the model? I'm planning to sell on Reverb, any guidance on a reasonable offer price? If any interest send me a dm.

In the US, not worth much. If new pads needed, I'd guess $200-400 would be the going price.

Yet another one of those instruments that play well but are worth very little on the market due to off-brand status.

I purchased the exact same model two days ago in about the same condition for $200. It will require a complete overhaul at a price of $500. My horn is called a Kohlert Winneden "REGENT".
