I guess the mic is bit difficult to see in this video. Anyway, Joel sure sounds good. I like the way he constructed his solo, quoting the tune, etc.

Looks like it might be an AT 40xx, but the suspension holder doesn't look quite right

. The reverb the engineer chose was very nice--a warm 'hall' reverb', a nice, subtle compression to even out the subtones vs. the full sound. Definitely a pro mixing this, even though the vocals were a little distorted in the consonants, and a bit dry compared to the sax. That's probably an artifact from formatting it for youtube.

I love this tune. Rodgers and Hart had a really special relationship in writing songs. I liked the piano and vocalist, too.
