My brother has Going Home, the theme from Local Hero by Mark Knopfler on guitar... I'd really like to play it. On the Alchemy Live CD, there is a tenor sax playing along with the guitar... can I just play the guitar music or do I need to transpose it to make it work?

So, if it starts on a g, then do I play a?

Yup. Oh and you move the key signature a whole step up too. So if it's in G major you play it in A major.

The writting isn't bad but what you're looking at is the chart --in case you want to double check after you're done quickly.

Thank you, that should help. I am going to ask the guitar band teacher if I can play tenor sax with the band on this song, so it needs to be right.
