Hey guys,
I have been asked to perform at our school's commencement ceremony, and I was just looking for some suggestions on possible solos w/band accompaniment, or quartet/jazz band accompaniment. Anything that you think might be appropriate/fitting for graduation, please let me know. Thanks for the help!

Is this a featured number as part of the ceremony, itself, in the lobby before/after the ceremony, etc? What do you mean by "band"? Exactly how does your performance fit into the program?

I am hoping to play David Sanborn's Chicago Song. If you have a WAVE editor, you can edit the Abersold playalong to fit with his solo. It sounds really good.

I was in your position 4 years ago and that's what I did. Once people realized what the tune was it went over REALLY well. Good luck!
