Hello Saxophone Friends:

My new CD, Pimpin', has now been released. This is a classical CD, but it looks like no other classical saxophone CD I've ever seen before. Hopefully, the cover will get it some initial attention, but I do believe the music stands for itself and covers a range of styles within the classical genre.

Several of the composers including Michael Djupstrom, Joseph Rubenstein and Robert Paterson are performing their pieces with me on this project. The other musicians on the disc including my colleague and wonderful pianist, Maria Asteriadou and violinist, Kurt Nikkanen, concertmaster of the NYC Ballet Orchestra, are both of the highest caliber.

Please check it out at either of the sites I'll list below. Unfortunately, the automatic sound samples that were created don't include the saxophone part in a couple of the pieces. Thus, I hope to post a video soon with additional sound samples. Thanks for looking.
