Hello my friends on the web. Please take notice that the new Phil Woods auto biography "my life in E flat"is in the book stores and online. If you'd like to read about this one of a kind Saxophonist in the history of jazz please do I would encourage it.

This is quite a good book. Best to read it, and mentally place Phil's voice in your head, as it is Phil telling us stories.

Years ago Chan Parker, Bird's widow and Phil's ex, wrote an autobiography called My Life in E Flat. Strange that someone would choose Life in E Flat for the title of Phil's autobiography. I bet it's a good read though.
Yes. It is only one word; "My" that is different. You would think a person who is very creative would be able to think of a better title. Chan's book is linked below:
