Characteristics...Well I can tell you that the 7 was the one Rhonda originally played on. It has a larger than "normal" hole geometry and substantial riser. Capable of lots of sound for a really aggressive player. They were very popular when they first came out. Particularly, the Japan made Elegantes were sold with many PH-7's and it was a nice combo for lots of people.
