I really like the idea of making big band arrangements of popular pop songs of our time. I especially like this one! The band rocks! Brilliant arrangements! Dan Higgins on lead alto.. Enough said ;) I just missed Paul's show here last week.. Hopefully they come back here very soon.

What do you like?

Dan Higgins sure gets a FULL sound!?!?

Funny choice to record the whole band and then shoot the video with only the lead players...

I'm not familiar with Paul Anka, but I really like how it's in the Sinatra style and the band even uses themes from "The Best is Yet to Come", considering Bon Jovi mentioned Frank in the lyrics.

What makes you think you are not looking at the full band? ;)

Thanks for this post. I'm on YouTube all the time but I never would have done a PAUL ANKA search, that's for sure.

Paul's got great pipes at 66 and the band (s) he uses are great too.
