I'm shedding Little Suede Shoes from the Parker Omnibook chart, and I have been looking thru YouTube for the original Atlantic recording, without success. Was the Atlantic vinyl reissued under a different label when it went digital? If so, please reply with the url or what the digital recording label is. Any help finding the original on the web would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It was released on Verve, Atlantic just owns the copyright.

You can download it off of iTunes. I got my copy from "The Complete Charlie Parker on Verve" box set. But it's also on "The Essential Charlie Parker" and others. I'm only aware of one studio version of the tune so it should be easy to find the version in the Omnibook (he did record it live a few times). The preview of the tune from "The Essential Charlie Parker" on iTunes actually plays the entire solo.
