Hi everyone,
I am repadding my 1950 Holton tenor, and I think I might need .185" pads verses the .160-.165" pads that I have on hand. They make the pad cups hit in the front first, and a few actually sit a little high, not touching the tone holes.
I might be answering my own question, but what do you think?
Thanks bunches!

i don't know. but i repadded using the plain .16 pads, no issues. have you float the pads? could be other stuff, like corks, regulation, timing, bent key, whatever.

All the corks I replaced were the same thickness as the original,so all I can think it could be would be pad thickness, but I hate to have to spend the money if I don't need to.
