I just got my second alto. So now I can get the overhaul I've always wanted. My problem is that I am not sure where to send it. I live in a remote part of Australia and am not sure what to do. Should I send it to someone in an Australian capital city or as I have to freight it anyway should I send it to the USA to someone like Musicmedia? Any suggestions, opinions or recommendations would be most welcome.
I'll get the worst one done and then when I have it back, the other one. Yes they are both Keilwerths.

Whereabouts are you in Australia Phil?

I don't see a need to send the sax overseas, as it just complicates matters and adds to what is already an expensive exercise. The more your sax travels, the more liable it is to be damaged. You don't want to have the horn overhauled, only to receive it back and find that it has been knocked around in transit and now needs readjusting.

Australia has some very good repairmen and also some bloody awful ones. Let me know where you are and I'll help you find a good one.
