I agree! I use my 7* Ny all the time- plays as good as a $350.00 mouthpieces I own.

Yep..

When you find a good one with a straight even facing, they really are great pieces. Enjoy.. :)

Also in this case a refacing can help a lot to improve their performances. Few months ago I refaced a modern NY Link and it played much better than before. I was really surprised :). One day maybe I will buy one also for me :)

I agree regarding the STM NY....I got a 30 year old 9* from another member of the Forum, in a trade for a Berg. After MOJO added a small baffle and did some refacing, this piece is all that I need for blues and R&B. Sweet, thick, big sound. This piece blows my 8* Tenney STM away.
