Hello all. I got a Otto Link Tone Edge 9* from WWBW a few years ago, and have been using on my Yanagisawa S991 with a Vandoren Blue box 2 1/2 reed. I do not know what the tip opening is for the mouthpiece and so far I have not been able to find an reference online. I am wondering if anyone knows what it is.

Thanks for the reference . the chart however does not go beyond 8* for sopranos Otto links

You can extrapolate. Add .006” to the 8* listing to get a 9*.

On soprano an OL Tone Edge 9* should be around .078. A 9 should be .075, a 10 should be 0.080, but measuring is the only way to know.

Thank you all. I just realized that my Jodyjazz HR 7* soprano might have the same type tip opening as the OL Tone edge 9*. I have having some response battles with the link compared to the Jodyjazz especially up top, and may have to send it to Sopranoplanet for an evaluation. It is a stock piece and has never been modified.
