Hi all, I'm thinking about selling about my Early Babbit 8 tenor mouthpiece. It's a hard rubber piece and was made in the late 70s. It's not in mint condition but it's in pretty good condition, with all of the chain on the back and lettering intact, just a little faded in some spots. Functionally, it's in great condition. How much could I expect to get for one of these things? The highest sold auction on eBay for one is $1,093.89 (7*) and the lowest is $137.50 (8), so there's quite a range.

The realistic price today is $400-$600 possibly a little more depending on the market or avenue you take to sell.

Also depends on which blank it is. There are quite a few...I've owned at least 3 different ones.
