I recently acquired a very nice Otto Link Slant Alto mouthpiece, size 4*. The piece was in pristine condition and even came with its original Pompano Beach cardboard box. After playing it, I can honestly say that my search for alto sax mouthpieces has definitely ended. It can be used on any alto and gives me the edge in my sound that I have been looking for for quite a while.

Can anyone provide me with info on the period in which is was made? I don't have pictures, but I has the slanted "Otto Link" logo, no "USA" on the shank and the facing is on the side as opposed to the table. My guess is that it could have been made between the late 1940's and the early 1960's. I was hoping that members here can pin down a more precise period based on its individual physical characteristics. Thanks.
