Hello everybody,

Actually I'm playing a 6* HR Otto link with Vandoren 2,5 Java reeds

The sound is very nice

I want to try a metal Otto Link for a sound a little bit more edgy,

Do you know if (with same reeds) a Metal Link 6* is equivalent to a HR 6* ?? because I already heard that for a same opening tip, metal is a little bit more easy to play than a HR. If it is true, that means I need to find a Metal in "7" and not in "6*" :? :? :?

Yes I had made a calculation difference between HR & metal for a same opening tip = O,OOOOOOOOOOO3/OOOOOOOOOOOO,2²*mc2
