I am sorry, but who is Kaiser? I have known that I have osteoporosis for 10 years now. I was flagged just like you when I had a back xray. I went on mega doses of vitamins and minerals and I gained density in the first couple of years and after that I have stayed about the same density wise (I am still light), even though I have been on and off fosamax and actonel for years. I get a bone scan every 2 years through the bone clinic at St. Mike's Hospital in Toronto. Osteoporosis is assymptomatic until it's often debilitating and big trouble. A bone scan every year or 2 is the only way to assess the density if you have been diagnosed this disease.
