Here's a sample from my newest series. The concepts and exercises are based on the chord progression to Charlie Parker's tune Confirmation, but can be applied to many chord progressions that have fast moving ii-V's like Rhythm Changes.

Hey Folks- Just wanted to let you know I have a new lesson set called Vocabulary, Licks, & Language. This series includes a series of 13 short lessons (6-10 minutes each) based on a variety of licks. Some of the licks are from transcriptions of the great masters; others are based on common vocabulary used by most jazz musicians. You’ll learn how to practice each lick in different keys and how to conceptualize the components, turning them into vocabulary and musical language.
