Just wanted to let everyone know that I've posted a couple of new podcast lessons on my "Jazz Improvisation Lessons" page. If you're not familiar with my podcast lessons, visit the page and view some of the samples. Here's a link:

Each lesson comes with a Quicktime video outlining a practice method or routine, and a PDF offering written instruction and exercises that you can take to the practice room. (MPEG4's for iPhones, etc. are available on request.)

Lessons are available for players of many different skill levels, and are rated according to difficulty.

This lesson provides a method for learning the "Circle of Fourths" and for practicing concepts, phrases, and licks on dominant chords in all keys using the "Cycle of Dominants."

ii-V-I's: The Modal View
This lesson approaches the major ii-V-I chord progression through the use of dorian, mixolydian, and major scales. Examples and exercises are provided to help you learn to play concepts, phrases, and licks over ii-V-I progressions in all keys.
