I live in Louisville, KY and there is really not a place to try out a good selection of mouthpieces. There have been so many great recommendations from SOTW users, but where does a guy go to try these out?

Is anyone aware of a dealer who will send mouthpieces for trial?

OR drive up to South Bend IN and try them there. It is a really hard thing finding the right mouthpiece and the search never ends. I have been searching for over 50 years.

My suggestion is to use ebay or SOTW to purchase mouthpieces used and then resell them the same way.

You really need to spend some time playing a piece and unless it is grievously manufactured like a new Otto Link STM (they are notorious for poor QC although quite nice after a reface) before dismissing it.

In the long run you have a better idea what will work or not even if you lose a small amount of money.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys. I'll probably go with the ebay approach. I'm looking more toward Drake, Aizen, Klum and those type pieces, so in this case, patience is a virtue, I guess.
