Well, it might not be too odd, actually. I received a mouthpiece with my Grassi 2000 soprano that looks just like a Runyon Custom, but marked H. Couf 4*. Did Runyon make mouthpieces for Couf?

When I worked at Buffet in the 70s, we got our student line mouthpieces from Runyon. Pretty good and we only paid about $3 each.

I used to have a Couf soprano piece. I sold it years ago. Then, I picked up a JodyJazz and later, two Runyons. All the same. DAVE
