I could see the value here, but it seems like not all resistance is the same. Resistance from a hard reed is different from resistance due to a large tip opening, which is different from resistance due to a large chamber. I guess we could measure the "net resistance," but I'm not sure that it would necessarily tell us very much about the mouthpiece.
