Very nice home refacing job!

Has a tip opening of about 150 mm (= 1.5 cm = 5.9 inch)! Must give a huge sound!

And with those thick rails you can use stainless steel reeds, which will make your sound even bigger (and those reeds last forever)!

I鈥檓 guessing the tip opening is .150鈥. 1.5 mm would not be 鈥渉uge鈥 but that would be my second guess.

But there is a good chance it has not been measured. With that tip rail thickness, there would be a significant difference in the tip opening as measured inside the tip rail vs outside the tip rail.

I鈥檝e heard the old school opinion that thin rails give you a thin sound ..... this thing must sound incredible. Yikes!
