My wife got AirPod Pros with her new phone, and after trying them I've decided I want to replace my old Bose QC wired units. I'm looking for full 'droid compatibility, good noise cancellation, audiophile level sound, and good battery life. I also really like how the AirPods let through so much ambient noise when NC is turned off, which is a huge benefit in my work environment.

I've always been dissatisfied with the white noise that the Bose buds put out when NC is active, and the fact that the Bose products are so poorly integrated into the 'droid audio controls. Never again, Bose is dead to me.

Any personal experience? Sennheiser Momentum? Sony WF-1000XM3? Something else?

Thanks.

They're not for true audiophiles, but my 1MORE wireless BTs are well-designed and great for listening to podcasts while mowing the lawn, despite the stupid branding. They were also good on airplanes, when I could still fly. Who knows, maybe they have higher-end units now.

Why can't you fly? I fly all the time. My boss gives me no choice other than the unemployment line.
Well if you gotta, you gotta. But I don't gotta fly, and doing so would only put myself at risk, along with others who gotta. Besides, anywhere I'd wanna go right now would require a two-week isolation upon arrival, which would defeat the purpose of travel.

Anyway, I used to have a pair of Polk noise cancelling ear buds. The sound was probably better than my 1MOREs, but they were wired, which was very awkward. The construction was also terrible, and they fell apart quickly. Maybe they've since improved.
