Help. Just bought a Borgani soprano, and it came without a front F key. How do you get high F# and above without said key? I would appreciate some help here.

fingering the high F palm key and the C key will do the same thing as the front F key.

does it have a neckstrap ring? My Couf soprano has no neck strap ring or Front F, I would imagine it has something to do with trying to keep the weight of the horn lower so it's more comfortable to play without a neckstrap. (that's just my speculation...)

my guess is that its designed after a mark VI, i don't think they have front F's either.

I have a YSS-61 from the mid-70s. It doesn't have a front F either. It does have an f# key though. I regularly play to A3, and practice up to C4. You don't HAVE to have a front F, especially on Sop.
