Behold my first clarinet that is sure not to impress.

Exciting for me anyway, I immediately put it together.

And...then decided to read directions online and put it together again.

It's a great clarinet that sounds amazing. Okay okay, you got me. I couldn't make an R13 sound amazing, so I don't know if it's good or not. But it's way cheaper than retail on eBay (more so than the other student models I toyed with buying) and it seems well put together. No issues I've found so far other than me. Already on the hunt for a better mouthpiece, but that's premature arrogance on my part.

Those are great playing horns. Buy a Fobes Debut mouthpiece. They are terrific and very inexpensive. I know of mouthpieces that cost many times the price of a Debut that don't play anywhere near as well.

Many times the price like the three Vandorens I already bought? :( Thanks for the head's up, might give these a go.

Nice quality plastic clarinet. Did you get it from "chucklevins" ??
Why yes I did! Dude has good deals.
