I had never heard him before, I had heard of him before, but now i know his talent. His black/gold SX90 is just like my tenor and he can sure play some great bari. He and Cuber are some of my favorites, but Pepper Adams, Carney, Mulligan and Smulyan still rank up there. I wish i could play like him...

He was a great player. I'm more of a Mulligan guy.

If you want to check out a great bari player I recommend Mike Brignolia (no relation to Nick). Great tone. Great chops. Great guy.
