Here's a 10-minute video from the series "How It's Made" showing how tubas are constructed. It shows some details about bell forming and seams that I haven't seen in the sax manufacturing videos that have been posted here. It makes me want to try making a few sax necks again. Well, maybe.

I love how easy it looks to braze and soft solder in this video. It goes to show that if the parts are perfectly clean, mate perfectly, they are held in place perfectly and the right soldering tools and materials are used, the right amount of heat is applied, along with lots of experience doing it, soldering is a piece of cake :)
