i just got my first yani alto, the A901. I am getting a huge robust sound out of it with a Morgan Excalibur 6M and Vandoren Java 3. This is making me very excited. I am afraid I will not be able to put it down.

Welcome to the slippery slope of the Yani faith! I have four of them - 'nino, curved sop, tenor and bari and have been a convert for years.

Small word of advice - try to take it out of your mouth when eating or drinking as it can be a bit messy otherwise.

Congrats and enjoy! I used to own an old Martin/Yani Tenor back in the 80s...now I own a S902, A991 and T991.....love 'em all....they are great horns!

I got a Yani curved soprano last month and love it. Traded my unused Selmer Tenor (I'm NOT a tenor player, I've discovered) for an A992 bronze alto. Both of these horns are outstanding...I really like them a lot!
