I failed to reproduce this using Google Chrome.
This case is closed for now. But the thread remains open if you see this phenomenon again.

I had this problem myself for a couple weeks starting at the beginning of Sept. with both IE7 and Firefox. Seems to have been cured about 10 days ago, however. Whatever you did at that time might have made the difference.
