Vague question, again . . . soprano? alto? tenor? etc. Plus, this section is for saxophones, not mouthpieces and accessories.
I've owned Links, Yanagisawa, Runyon, and Dukoff to name a few. None worked for me as well as hard rubber, but that is SO personal that it really doesn't matter. What works for me will most likely not work for you - and THAT is consistent among most players. DAVE
I think it's a valid question if you're talking price.
What's the best all-round mouthpiece for the money , say under $100.
I got a closeout Bamber from WWBW for cheap.(forgot how much)
JD Hite for around $26 is supposed to be good.
Rico's used to be around $15 and for that price they can give you something to play around with.
I would have to agree that Size of the Sax, and the expierence of the player need to be questioned. The reason I say expierence, is becuase I have checked the threads he has started so far, and their seem to be alot of begginer questions. So I would deffiantly say that the players expierence should be questioned.
2) Horn, what are you playing on?
3) Alto, Tenor, Bari, Soprano, Bass, C-mel, Sopranino?
5) Style of music?
All these questions should be anwered before help can be adminstered.
