I needed a better Alto, and SaxQuest had a pearl gold pre-jubilee (no J at the end of the serial number) well below $1k. I hope this is a good entry point to join the collective. It's going to need a few pads and a regulation. Hopefully that doesn't mean it needs a full repad or overhaul.

Absolutely no thoughts as I just ordered it. Should be waiting for me when I get home from my trip to Florida.

I know those that own Borgani horns are very happy with them based in reports here at SotW.

Less than $1000? Seems like a steal based on what I've seen…

Now you REALLY need to get on the Phil-Tone Intrepid pass ‘round!

If that lil’ horn is anything close to the Jubilee alto that I just got, you are in for some fun.

G’luck!

First chance to blow on it was today. I am not at the same level on Alto as I am on Tenor, but this is a sweet little horn.

Right now I play in a cheap but very solid Mac Sax Aura. overall pretty wow. I'd like to tone down the brightness at the top of the horn but I certainly sound like I play alto on this.

Needs some adjusting and a few pads. But I'll be in less than a thousand for a really good horn.
